Terms of Service
Terms governing Vavus AI accounts, subscriptions, tokens, translation, messaging, healthcare, enterprise, and acceptable use.
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Agreement
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and DCI Brands LLC for access to Vavus AI, Vavus Keyboard, VClaw public surfaces, web applications, desktop applications, mobile apps, keyboard extensions, APIs, and related services.
By creating an account, buying a plan, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old, or older if required by local law, to use Vavus. You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials secure, and activity that occurs under your account.
Account types include Personal, Healthcare, and Enterprise. Healthcare and Enterprise accounts may require additional onboarding, contracts, SSO, organization controls, or a Business Associate Agreement.
Service description
Vavus provides translation, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, keyboard dictation, AI chat, encrypted messaging, calls, documents, files, and assistant workflows. Feature availability depends on plan, platform, language pair, device, provider coverage, and account type.
Automated translation and AI output can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing output before using it in medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other high-stakes settings.
Billing, subscriptions, and tokens
Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Prices and plan details are shown before purchase. Web purchases are processed by Stripe; iOS purchases by Apple; Android purchases by Google Play.
Trial offers may require a payment card at checkout. If a 3-day trial is shown at checkout, there is no charge during the trial period and billing starts after the trial ends unless you cancel first.
Tokens are usage credits for supported Vavus features. Subscription tokens and purchased token packs may have different expiration and refund rules described on the Pricing and Refund pages.
VClaw waitlist and assistant access
VClaw is waitlist-only until assistant infrastructure opens more broadly. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation, a launch date, or uninterrupted assistant availability.
Assistant workspaces, tool execution, bring-your-own-key model access, setup support, voice add-ons, and container capacity may require additional pricing, onboarding, usage limits, or signed terms before activation.
Acceptable use
You may not abuse, reverse engineer, scrape, attack, overload, bypass limits, share credentials improperly, create fraudulent accounts, violate law, or use Vavus to process content you do not have the right to process.
- Do not use Vavus to create malware, facilitate fraud, harass people, impersonate others, or interfere with the service.
- Do not upload protected health information unless your account and workflow are approved for healthcare use.
- Do not rely on automated output as the sole basis for emergency, clinical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
User content and ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Vavus the limited rights needed to process, transmit, store, secure, and display that content so the service can work.
Vavus owns the service, software, interfaces, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property.
Healthcare and enterprise terms
Healthcare and Enterprise customers may have additional agreements, procurement terms, BAAs, data processing terms, deployment terms, or service orders. If those signed terms conflict with this page, the signed terms control for that account.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment, policy violations, legal requirements, or behavior that harms users, Vavus, or the service.
You may stop using Vavus at any time. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically delete your account data.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided as available and may change over time. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Vavus disclaims implied warranties and limits liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, except where local non-waivable law requires otherwise.
