How much does Vavus AI cost?+
During beta, Vavus AI web plans are Personal at USD 6.98 per month (10,000 tokens, 2 GB storage), Pro at USD 19.58 per month (35,000 tokens, 10 GB storage), and Enterprise at USD 68.58 per month (120,000 tokens, 100 GB storage). Post-beta list prices are USD 9.97, USD 27.97, and USD 97.97 per month. Annual billing offers a 17% discount. Apple App Store prices follow Apple's pricing tiers.
Does Vavus AI offer a free trial?+
Yes. The web trial gives 5,000 free tokens for 3 days. Card is required at Stripe checkout, and there is no charge during the 3-day trial. On iOS, Vavus AI uses Apple's introductory offer through In-App Purchase, also for 3 days. After the trial, billing follows the plan you selected.
What is a Vavus AI token?+
A token is the unit of metered usage across the Vavus AI platform. One token costs USD 0.003 at retail. Translation, dictation, AI chat, voice and video calls with translation, document translation, and OCR all consume tokens from the same balance. Tokens never expire while your account is active, and unused monthly tokens roll over within the same billing cycle.
Can I buy additional Vavus AI tokens?+
Yes. Token packs are available as one-time purchases on top of any plan. Web and desktop offer 5,000 / 10,000 / 25,000 / 50,000 / 100,000 token packs. iOS offers 5,000 (USD 4.99) and 50,000 (USD 49.99) packs through Apple In-App Purchase. Packs stack with your monthly plan tokens.
Is the Vavus Keyboard included in a Vavus AI plan?+
The Vavus Keyboard built into the Vavus AI super app is included with any Vavus AI plan where keyboard support is live, including the iOS keyboard extension today. The standalone Vavus Keyboard app is sold separately at USD 10.48 per month on web during beta (USD 14.97 post-beta) and includes unlimited keyboard usage plus a 3-day trial. The standalone plan is for users who want only the keyboard.
How does Vavus AI compare on price to Google Translate or DeepL?+
Google Translate is free for consumer use. DeepL Pro starts at around USD 8.74 per month (annual) for individuals and scales up. Vavus AI Personal is USD 6.98 per month on web during beta (USD 9.97 post-beta) and adds AI voice translation, a translation keyboard, encrypted messaging, voice and video calls with translation, and document workflows that consumer Google Translate and DeepL Pro do not bundle into a single subscription.
