Streaming Translation

Continuous one-way live translation — Vavus listens and translates non-stop as you speak.

Streaming Translation listens continuously and translates one direction in real time. Useful for lectures, sermons, meetings where one person speaks for a long time, or when you want translation running in the background.

Top-left arrow. Returns to the Translation Hub.

The language being spoken. Tap to change.

Swap languages
Swaps the source and target instantly.

Target language pill
The language you want the translation in. Tap to change.

New session
Top-right. Saves the current session to History and starts a fresh one.

Settings
Top-right gear. Audio options (auto-play, pause mic during TTS, Bluetooth mic preference, voice activity detection) and display options (show original text, show interim text).

Start / Stop
The big circular button at the bottom. Tap once to start streaming, tap again to stop. While streaming, Vavus keeps transcribing and translating as you talk.
