Conversation (Chat)

A single chat thread. You can send text, voice notes, photos, files, and polls — everything is end-to-end encrypted. The header lets you start a voice or video call and set per-chat translation.

   Back

   Top-left arrow. Returns to the Conversations list.

   Other person's name (header)

   Shows who you're chatting with. Subtitle shows online status or "Last seen…". Tap to open Chat Info.

   Video call

   Top-right camera icon. Starts an encrypted video call.

   Voice call

   Top-right phone icon. Starts an encrypted voice call.

   Search messages

   Top-right magnifier. Opens a search bar to filter messages in this chat.

   Translation settings

   Top-right translate icon. Opens per-chat translation settings (auto-translate, target language, engine).

   Message bubble

   Tap any message bubble to expand actions. Long-press opens the context menu (copy, reply, edit, delete, translate, share).

   Translate message

   Inside a long-press menu. Translates that single message to your set chat language.

   Attach

   Plus icon in the input bar. Send a photo, video, document, or location.

    Poll

    Inside the attach menu. Opens the poll modal to create a question with options.

    Message field

    Type your message. Multiline expands as you type. A draft is saved automatically if you leave.

    Hold to record (voice note)

    Hold the microphone to record a voice message. Release to send, swipe up to lock recording, swipe left to cancel.

    Send

    Sends the typed message.
