Call (1:1)

An encrypted voice or video call with one contact, with optional live translation and recording.

Call is the full-screen view for an encrypted voice or video call with one contact. You can mute, switch to/from video, enable live translation, and record (with consent) — all without leaving the call.

  1. 1
    End call

The big red button. Hangs up and saves a call record to Call History.

  2. 2
    Mute / Unmute

Toggles your microphone. The button glows when muted.

  3. 3
    Camera

Turns your camera on or off (video calls only).

  4. 4
    Flip camera

Switches between front and back camera.

  5. 5

Routes audio between speakerphone, earpiece, and Bluetooth.

  6. 6

  7. 7
    Translate language

Inside the translate overlay. Pick the language you want the other side translated to.

  8. 8
    Record

Starts an encrypted recording of the call. Both sides see a "Recording" banner — recording requires consent.

  9. 9
    Transcript overlay

Once translation is on, the live transcript appears at the bottom. Tap to expand.

  10. 10
    Accept / Reject (incoming)

For incoming calls. Accept connects, Reject declines and notifies the caller.
