Messaging Settings controls how Vavus AI's chat system behaves — what notifications you get, whether encryption is required, and how messages back up between devices.

   Top-left arrow. Returns to the previous screen.

   Push notifications

   Master toggle for new-message notifications.

   Session alerts

   Notify when a chat partner starts a translation session.

   Require encrypted text messages

   When on, Vavus AI refuses to send if encryption is unavailable for any reason.

   Encrypted message backup

   Toggle. When on, your message history is backed up encrypted to Vavus AI's cloud so you can restore on a new phone.

   Opens documentation about how backups work and what's stored.
