New Conversation

Search for someone by name, handle, or email and start a chat or send a contact request.

The New Conversation screen lets you find another Vavus AI user — by name, public handle (@username), or email — and start a chat or send them a contact request.

Top-left arrow. Returns to the Conversations list.

Search field
Type a name, @handle, or email address. Results appear below.

Contact row
A search result. If you're already connected, tap to start chatting. If not, the row shows Send request / Accept buttons.

Send contact request
For someone you don't yet have. Sends them a connection request — they need to accept before you can chat.

Accept and message
For incoming requests. Accepts the contact and opens the chat in one step.

Create channel
Bottom of the screen. Starts a new group channel — pick members and a name.
