Two-Factor Setup

Turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, save backup codes, or disable 2FA.

Two-factor authentication adds a six-digit code from your phone on top of your password. This screen guides you through scanning a QR code with Google Authenticator (or Authy), saving backup codes, and shows the disable flow if 2FA is already on.

  1. 1
    QR Code

Scan this with your authenticator app to add the Vavus AI entry.

  2. 2
    Manual key

The same setup key as text. Type it into your authenticator if you can't scan.

  3. 3
    Copy secret

Copies the key to the clipboard. The clipboard auto-clears after 30 seconds.

  4. 4
    6-digit verification code

Enter the code from your authenticator app to prove the link works.

  5. 5
    Verify & Enable

Confirms the code and turns 2FA on. Backup codes appear next.

  6. 6
    Backup codes

Ten one-time codes for when you lose your phone. Save them somewhere safe.

  7. 7
    Copy all (backup codes)

Copies all ten codes to the clipboard. Clipboard auto-clears after 30 seconds.

  8. 8
    Done

Closes the backup codes view after you've saved them.

  9. 9
6-digit code or backup code (disable)

Shown when 2FA is already on. Enter either a fresh authenticator code or one of your backup codes.

  10. 10
    Password (disable)

Your account password — required to confirm it's really you.

  11. 11
    Disable two-factor authentication

Turns 2FA off and goes back to a setup screen so you can re-enable if you want.
