Security

Password, two-factor, biometric unlock, message privacy, encryption recovery, data export, and account deletion.

Security is where you protect the account. Toggle login alerts, biometric unlock, message privacy; change your password; manage 2FA, SSO link, and encryption recovery; export your data; or delete your account entirely.

    Login Alerts

    Switch. Emails you whenever someone signs into your account from a new device.

    Session Timeout

    Read-only. Shows how long your session can sit idle before signing you out (15 min for healthcare accounts).

    Two-Factor Auth

    Read-only status switch. Use the Manage 2FA button below to change it.

    Biometric unlock (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint)

    Switch. Lets you unlock Vavus AI with your face or fingerprint instead of typing your password every time.

    Last login

    Read-only. The date and time of your last sign-in.

    Start SSO Link

    Begins the flow to link a single-sign-on provider (Google, Microsoft, Apple) to your account.

    Activate Pending SSO

    Confirms a pending SSO link after you've completed sign-in at the provider.

    Generate recovery phrase

    Creates a 12-word recovery phrase to enable zero-knowledge encryption — Vavus AI can no longer reset your password for you afterwards.

    Use standard recovery

    Switches you back from zero-knowledge to password-recoverable encryption.

    Remove SSO login

    Unlinks an active SSO provider. You need a password set first.

    Message Privacy (Anyone / Contacts only)

    Segmented buttons. Picks who can start a conversation with you in Messages.

    Current password

    Required to change your password.

    New password / Confirm new password

    Type the new password twice. Must be at least 8 characters.

    Change Password / Set Password

    Submits the password change.

    Manage 2FA

    Opens the Two-Factor Setup screen to enable, disable, or rotate codes.

    Export My Data

    Downloads everything Vavus AI has on you — translations, history, settings — as a single archive.

    Confirm your password (delete)

    Required to delete your account.

  18. 18
    Delete Account

    Permanently deletes your account, tokens, history, and all data. Cannot be undone.
