Chat Info

Chat Info shows the details for a single conversation — who's in it, encryption status, retention policy, disappearing-message timer, and a summary button. Group admins also see member-management actions here.

   Back

   Top-left arrow. Returns to the chat.

   Disappearing messages

   Toggle and timer. Set messages to delete automatically after a chosen interval.

   Retention limit

   Sets a maximum age for kept messages. Anything older gets cleared.

   Summarize chat

   Asks Vavus AI to read the recent messages and give you a one-paragraph summary. Useful for catching up on group chats.

   Add context (AI memory)

   Pin documents, glossaries, or notes the AI should know about when summarizing or translating in this chat.

   Remove context

   Removes a previously added context document.

   Members (group)

   Lists every member of a group chat. Admins can promote or remove.

   Translation settings

   Shortcut into per-chat translation settings.

   Leave / Delete chat

   Bottom. Leaves the group (group chats) or deletes the conversation (direct messages).
