Settings

Settings holds every preference that's not strictly about billing or security. Pick a theme, change the app language, set up the dictation keyboard, toggle notifications, control how recordings are saved, decide whether history syncs to the cloud — plus links to the legal pages, support, and this manual.

   Enable web access (Link email)

   iOS anonymous accounts only. Opens the screen to add an email and password so you can sign in on the web.

   Theme (Light / Dark / System)

   Segmented buttons. Picks the app's color scheme.

   UI language

   Tap to change the language the app's interface uses.

   Voice preferences

   Opens Voice Profiles, where you pick a TTS voice per language.

   Dictation keyboard setup

   Opens the Keyboard Settings screen.

   Dictation overlay in other apps (Android)

   Switch. Turns the floating dictation bubble on or off across all apps. First time, takes you through the disclosure.

   Notify messages

   Switch. Push notifications for new messages.

   Notify calls

   Switch. Push notifications for incoming calls.

   Notify contacts

   Switch. Push notifications when new contacts connect.

    Notify system

    Switch. System-level notifications from Vavus AI (account, billing).

    Notify assistants

    Switch. Push notifications from your VClaw assistants.

    Save audio recordings

    Switch. When on, Vavus AI keeps the original audio of each session so you can re-translate later.

    Speech recording mode (Fast / Standard)

    Segmented buttons. Fast uploads a compressed Opus stream (~10x smaller). Standard uploads uncompressed WAV.

    History cloud sync (Cloud / Local only)

    Segmented buttons. Choose whether new history is auto-encrypted and synced to your other devices, or stays on this one.

    Cloud sync voice chat

    Switch. When on, voice chat sessions are eligible for cloud sync.

    Switch. Blanks the app preview in the iOS app switcher. Android screenshot behavior will be documented when the Android listing is public.

    Switch. Send anonymous usage data to Vavus AI to help improve the app.
