Join conference

The Join conference page is the public landing page for guests who follow a conference invitation link. No Vavus account is needed.

   Light / Dark toggle

   A small theme switch at the top of the screen.

   Your name

   Required. The display name other participants see.

   Your language

   The language you want to speak and hear translations in.

   Join conference

   Connects you to the live conference room.

   Go home

   Shown when the room is unavailable or the conference has ended. Returns to the landing page.

Once you're inside the room, the layout switches to the conference view.

   Participant count

   Live count of how many people are in the room right now.

   Leave

   Disconnects from the conference and returns to the landing page.

   Mute / unmute audio playback

   Mutes or unmutes the translated audio you hear. Doesn't affect your own microphone.

   Hold to talk

   Press and hold to take the floor and speak. Release to give the floor back. Whoever holds the floor is shown in the speaker bar at the top.

   Dismiss error

   Closes a transient error notification at the top of the message area.
