AI Chat

AI Chat is a streaming chat surface for asking questions, drafting, and analyzing — with model selection, voice mode, and attachments from your Vavus files.

   New chat

   Starts a fresh conversation in the sidebar list. Your previous chats stay saved.

   Search conversations

   Filters the sidebar list by chat title. Useful once you have many chats.

   Conversation list

   Click any past chat to reopen it. Hover and click the trash icon to delete one.

   Toggle sidebar

   Hides or shows the conversations list (mainly used on narrow windows).

   Model picker

   Pick which Vavus AI response mode answers. Faster modes use fewer tokens; deeper modes can spend more tokens for more context.

   Voice mode

   Starts a realtime voice conversation with the AI. Speak naturally; it speaks back.

   Attach Vavus files

   Attach documents, history transcripts, or notes from your Vavus account into the message.

   Message box

   Type your question. Press Ctrl+Enter (or Cmd+Enter on Mac) to send.

   Sends the message. Streams the reply back as it generates.
