First-run onboarding

The first time you sign in, Vavus shows a three-step welcome dialog explaining what each hotkey does. The dialog appears once per device and only the first time — you can always come back to the home dashboard for a similar overview.

   Progress dots

   Three dots at the top show which step you're on. The current step is wider; previous steps are faded.

   Close (X)

   Skip the rest of the onboarding. The dialog is dismissed for good — it won't pop up again.

   Step 1 — Dictate anywhere (Ctrl+D)

   Hold Ctrl+D to record. Release to paste the transcription into the focused text field.

   Step 2 — Translate on the fly (Ctrl+T)

   Select text in any app, then press Ctrl+T. Your translation is pasted automatically.

   Step 3 — Reverse translate (Ctrl+R)

   Translate clipboard text back to your source language — useful for reading replies you've received.

   Next / Get started

   Advance to the next step. On the final step the button reads "Get started" and dismisses the dialog.
