Connect Stripe to Vavus Concierge

The Vavus Concierge app for Stripe lets your AI assistant recognise your customers, answer questions about what they paid, and confirm payments made through your payment links. It only reads.

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. What the app reads

When you install the app, Stripe shows you this list and asks you to approve it. Each line is one read-only permission.

  • Match a person who contacts your assistant with your Stripe customer record: name, email, phone and, if you choose, address.
  • Let your assistant tell a customer about their recent invoices: date, amount, status.
  • Let your assistant see payments made without an invoice: date, amount and status. The card brand and last four digits that come with a payment are discarded, never stored.
  • Confirm that a payment link you give your assistant belongs to your own Stripe account.
  • Confirm when a customer finishes paying through one of your payment links.
  • Show you which Stripe account is connected, by name, so a wrong account is obvious.

2. What it never does

The app never creates, changes, refunds or cancels anything in your Stripe account, and it never moves money.

It never stores card or bank details. Stripe never shares full card numbers; a payment record does carry the card brand and last four digits, and Vavus discards them. It never reads your balance or payouts.

3. How to connect

You need a Vavus Concierge workspace and access to your Stripe account.

  • Sign in to Vavus Concierge at concierge.vavusai.com.
  • Open Connections and press Connect next to Stripe.
  • Choose your Stripe account, read the permissions, and press Install. You come back to Concierge, connected.

4. What you see afterwards

Connections shows the Stripe account you connected and whether it is in live or test mode. Customer records from Stripe appear under Customers, and payment links you add under Payments are checked against the same account.

One Stripe account can be connected to one Concierge workspace at a time.

5. How to remove it

In Concierge, open Connections and press Disconnect next to Stripe. Then, in Stripe, open Settings, Installed apps, and remove Vavus Concierge.

Removing the app in Stripe also disconnects it in Concierge. Customer records already imported stay in your workspace until you delete them.
