Brand history and product lineage
Vavus AI is the software-platform evolution of the Vavus brand. The same operator (DCI Brands LLC) originally launched the Vavus pocket translator — a handheld hardware device with built-in 4G SIM, touchscreen, camera, and offline translation packs — sold at shopvavus.com and listed on Amazon, eBay, and TikTok under product names like Vavus translator, Vavus 1.1, and Vavus 2.
The original hardware product line is being discontinued so the company can focus on the Vavus AI software platform. Vavus AI's current products are software only: the Vavus AI app, the standalone Vavus Keyboard, and Vavus Concierge.
