### Vavus AI (super app)

- Translation: live conversation translation, document translation, conference and call translation, reverse translation. Two engines exposed to users:
  - V-Translate (standard): Google Translate backbone, lowest latency, no AI context.
  - Vavus AI (AI translation): model-routed chain with Fast and Accurate modes for context-aware translation. Vendor names are surfaced in product UI (GPT-5 Nano / GPT-5 Mini / GPT-5 / Gemini 2.5 Flash / Gemini 2.5 Pro) rather than abstracted Vavus brand labels.

- HIPAA: BAA-backed onboarding for approved healthcare use cases; audit logs retained 6 years; secure deletion (overwrite before unlink) for PHI assets; no PHI in console logs; 15-minute idle timeout on healthcare accounts.
- GDPR: data export and account deletion via authenticated user endpoints; cookie consent banner with granular tier toggles; first-touch attribution captured only after marketing consent.
- Encryption: new history, documents, and audio uploads are encrypted client-side before they leave the device (TweetNaCl secretbox); messaging uses Signal Protocol end-to-end; legacy server-side encryption remains read-only for older content.
